The Human Sin-Nature Causes Problems for all of God's Creation

So far we have been talking mostly about the values systems of human beings that arose from activation of the fear control center of their brain. But what about the monkeys we mentioned earlier? Since introducing them, you may have been wondering, “Animals express fear too. How did their amygdales begin working? Did they all eat the fruit too?” The short answer is “No.” The longer answer from the Bible tells us that after Noah’s Ark had landed, that it was God who put the fear of man into the animals. God said to Noah, “The fear and dread of you will fall on all the beasts of the earth, and on all the birds in the sky, on every creature that moves along the ground, and on all the fish in the sea; they are given into your hands” Genesis 9:2, (NIV).

Therefore, it was God who activated the left amygdales of all vertebrates other than man, and the fear control centers of every other creature. This happened in concert with the moment that God decided to take his foot off the gas, so to speak, thus allowing creation to start coasting, which of course, coincided with Adam and Eve’s consumption of the fruit. This view does not intend to promote the concept of Deism. On the contrary, God is still involved and actively working with man through the person of the Holy Spirit.

Because of Adam's and Eve's act, that ushered death into the world, there is no purpose in preserving the universe in perpetuity just as it is. Consequently, the universe has since stopped expanding and is now slowing down.[1] & [2] Isaiah 34:4 & Rev. 6:14 state that someday the heavens will “recede like a scroll” and that “All the stars in the sky will be dissolved”. In the moment cosmological contraction began, the Second Law of Thermodynamics was instituted, which began the process where all created things started to become less organized. Entropy entered the world thus moving all of creation toward chaos. Instead of things becoming more organized (as Evolutionary Theory suggests), entropy and chaos began frustrating the world. Even now creation groans in anticipation of restoration just as the Apostle Paul wrote:

19For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. 20 For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the freedom and glory of the children of God. 22We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies. Romans 8:19-23, (NIV).

In God’s omniscience, He knew that the perfect world He had created could no longer produce the outcome that He desired for humanity. Once the fruit had been eaten, He knew that man would not value what God prized as important and that man would not desire the same things God would. Consequently, there would always be enmity between the two sets of values. Since acquiring his own value system, man would forever be at odds with God and had to be prevented from eating the fruit from the Tree of Life. Since man’s fate included psychological pain, death and mortality, there would be no sense in keeping this arrangement as the status quo or allowing man to languish in it forever. God has therefore allowed deconstruction of the universe to begin its process, so that someday it can all be recreated anew.
